Oakville Museum will be hosting its popular March Break Program once again this year, offering everyâ€" thing from string games and toyâ€" making to special music workshops. Those interâ€" ested in meeting the artists are invited to do so this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. "And now for something differâ€" ent," an exhibition of work by Joyce Kellock and Marguerite Broten, opens Sunday in the Oakville Art Society Gallery. Paper Pleasures â€" to be held Wednesday, March 17 â€" is an afterâ€" noon workshop for those age six and up. The cost is $10. On Thursday, March 18 those age nine and up will delight in String Games with Bill Russell durâ€" On the morning of Tuesday, March 16, children ages six to eight can enjoy Toymaking with Brian Krog. The cost is $6 each. Those age nine and up can take part in the afternoon workshop Woodworking and Stencilling at a cost of $10 each. The fun gets started on Monday, March 15 when Kathy Cope hosts morning and afternoon basketweavâ€" ing workshops for those age seven and up. The cost is $10 per child. Broten celebrates the preparation and presentation of food by creating functional pots that are as much a Kellock, best known for her oil paintings of children in landscape, will be displaying watercolors of flowers, portraits, landscapes and abstracts. During the opening only Kellock will also exhibit some of her larger works in the painting studio.
