Police want to know what two men were up to when one grabbed one of two young girls by the arm while the girls walked home from school on Munn‘s Avenue, Wednesday. The man reached across the counter and grabbed cash â€" less than $300 â€" out of the cash register and then ran out of the restaurant. "Staff chased the man and were able to catch him and held him for police," said Acting Det. Sgt. Peter Hodgson. Constable Mike Brown arrived at the scene and took custody of the man. All the cash was recovered. Facing a June 22 court date on a charge of theft under $1,000 is Michael James Petrunik, 20, of Kenilworth Crescent, Oakville.
