When the school year wrapped up Chisholm Public School student Ryan Gage, 8, went home knowing he‘d put his best foot forward. The Grade 2 student was the recipient of the school‘s Andrew Love Award. Andrew Love was a young boy with cerebral palsy who attended the Charnwood Drive elementary school several years ago. He too gave his best and when he sucâ€" cumbed to his illness, his family began a memorial award to go each year to one student who, not necessarily achieved academic excellence, but who made great strides in their efforts.
