Enchanted with the quiet living in Oakville where the Toronto-raised Ting and Boyd have lived for about two years, the couple hopes the peace at dawn will be reflected in their married life. “We picked the location because we liked it and because it’s romantic,” said Ting. their wedding about two months ago, they had no preconceptions about what they might do. They chose the park ceremony and chose Lakeside Park because that’s where the couple regularly take sunset strolls after work dur- ing the summer months. 0F CAMPBEILVIIIE “You do the best you can for everything before hand and when the day comes, it doesn’t matter what happens, it’ll be lovely,” says the bride-to-be. The couple had originally planned to carry out the ceremony on their own at dawn and char- tered an evening cruise in Toronto for a reception for guests. The “intimate and cozy” wed- ding, as Ting describes it, will include a maid of honor and best man - and numerous guests who apparently have decided they don’t mind getting up early.
