"We have been waiting for this for the last year," said Bhabha, explaining that homes and medical facilities have been on standby for some time, but government inacâ€" tion has prevented their use. Bhabha is upset with the length of time it has taken for those in power to respond to the crisis, but makes it clear that any action is welcome. "It‘s a beginning. We have to be positive," she says. "It‘s never too late. Even if one person is left in that inferno, it‘s never too late."
