The Oakville Suzuki Association‘s Jean Grieve has an idea, one that would not only help up and coming young music teachers, but parents who cannot afford the cost of private music lessons with an experienced instructor. Suzuki starts teacher apprenticeship program The apprentice teacher must have the ability to perform with good tone, posture and musicianship at least three Suzuki books or Conservatory Grades ahead of the students he or she intends to teach, says Grieve.
