Reality doesn’t often mesh with fantasy but in this case it did, and Garnett, a 22-year-old gradu- ate of the OCA program, lived for seven months just outside the city of Florence “in an amazing place, a big villa with lots of chestnut trees around.” ‘ Resisting the traditional resiâ€" dence within city limits which came with use of a studio for OCA students, she and some friends decided to pursue an independent route.
