Park Eagles and the Oakvilleâ€"Trafalgar Red Devils went into semiâ€"final playoff action Thursday hoping to win their respecâ€" tive matchâ€"ups and earn a trip to Hamilton. The Eagles ran into a tough M.M. Robinson Rams team and lost 43â€"29 in a hardâ€"fought affair. Meanwhile, the Red Devils fell to the Nelson Knights 21â€"6. The Eagles took a 29â€"27 lead with one minute to go in the third quarter on a 65â€"yard run by Jamie Bowman. But the Rams scored with 30 seconds left in the quarter to make it 34â€"29 and then dominated the fourth quarter to seal the victory. : "We couldn‘t stop their offence," said Eagles coach John Skinner. The Eagles and Rams exchanged leads several times throughout the course of the game. The Rams took an early 7â€"0 but the Eagles answered on a 12â€"yard touchdown run by Kirk Cornelius.
