On June 1, 1993 a,' public open house / meeting was held to review the problem and the preliminary screening of alternative opportunities for addressing the problem. Following June 1.: 1993 the preliminary screening was reviewed in light of public comments. Based on g comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the alternatives, the extension of Ford Drive to Lakeshore Road was identified as the preferred alternative. The foregoing was reviewed with the public on October 5, 1993. _ Following the review of comments received from the public and technical agencies; the Technical Co-ordinating Committee has confirmed that the extension of Ford Drive to Lakeshore Road is the preferred alternative. The study findings and the, preferred alternative will be reviewed with Town Council at a special meeting of Towrt Council I Public Meeting scheduled for: . TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Oakville passed By-law 1993-193 on the 22nd day of November, 1993 under section 34 of the Planning Act, 1983; AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the by-Iaw by filing with the Clerk of the corporation of the Town of Oakville not later than the 21st day of December, 1993, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons in support of the objection. The location of the land affected by this amendment Is the Community Improvement Area on Kerr Street between Stewart Street and Herald Avenue.
