Dec Museum looking forward to active 1994 [ _ This past year has been a very productive one for the Oakville Museum. Many successful special events were held, more people than ever before visited the museum, and the onâ€"going Erchless Restoration featured the opening of the beautiâ€" ful Rose Room. The completion of furnishings for the Rose Bedroom was made possible through successful Museum Volunteer and Board fundraising efforts. Special thanks must go to the Hart family, Chisholm descendants, for their Crime wave in east Oakville Residents of an east Oakville street experienced something of a small crime wave on Dec. 6th. Two cars were stolen and two more were broken into on Deer Run Ave. The theft of a third car the same night, on nearby Lambton Dr., may be related. ‘ _ On Deer Run Ave., between midâ€" night and 6:30 a.m., a green Lincoln Mark VIII licence 128 SZA, and a green Ford Explorer licence 360 LFY, were stolen. Both had been parked in the owners‘ driveways. Headphones, a camera, and a car phone were stolen from two other cars parked at the same addresses. At about the same time, a black Pontiac Sunbird, licence 027 THM, was stolen from a driveway on Lambton Dr. The Lincoln was seen in Toronto by a byâ€"law officer that same mornâ€" ing before it was reported stolen.
