The sense of accomplishment I feel is one I have never felt before. My future looked very bleak and for me to leave here as a high school graduâ€" ate seemed an impossible task. I soon learned that Maplehurst offered correspondence courses and an excellent educational faciliâ€" ty. I decided that it would do me some good to take a few courses. What I didn‘t expect was to enjoy my schoolwork as much as I did. I discovered that learning was fun and I couldn‘t get enough of it; as soon as I finished one course I would start another one. I began to realize how much more life had to offer when a person is educated and what I was missing. * I began to have dreams about attending college one day.
