WOSS hosts mulicultural Jashion show May 5thâ€"6th The car wash goes from 9:00 a.m.â€"3:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station on Navy Street. Cost for the wash is a donation. The Oakville Fire Department is holding a special car wash tomorrow to aid Canine Vision Canada which trains guide dogs for the blind out of its Oakville facility. Firefighters Car Wash Saturday Along with the fashion show, entertainment will include demonstrations of American western clogging, Scottish bagpiping, East Indian dancing, Caribbean dancing and singing, African step dancing, Middle Eastern belly dancing, American song and French song by the school‘s White Hot jazz singers. Cost is $2 per person with children under 10 admitted free. The entire family is encouraged to come out and enjoy the event. A fashion show with an international flavor will be hosted by White Oaks Secondary School May 5th and 6th in the cafetorium. Priscilla de Villiers, founder and president of CAVEAT (Canadians Against Violence Everywhere Advocating its Termination), will be the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Appleby College Parents‘ Association, on Wednesday, May 4th. Priscilla â€" mother of slain Burlington teenager Nina de Villiers â€" will be speaking just after the meeting, approximately 12:30 p.m., in the school gymnasium.
