Thomas Aquinas, which had won the Halton high school title two days earlier in a thrilling 1â€" 0 overtime shootout over Queen Elizabeth Park, one step short of a trip to the provincial championships. St. Thomas Aquinas couldn‘t nurse a 1â€"0 lead that Mario Saric given them on a penalty shot and allowed the Hamilton team to co back with two secondâ€"half goals.
