For further information, please call; Lynne Gough, Town of Oakville (905) 338â€"4190 The study area focuses on Trafalgar Road from Lakeshore Road to Highway 5 (Dundas Street). In the Eastâ€"west direction the corridor extends from Sixteen Mile Creek/Sixth Line to Chartwell Road/Eighth Line. The study will develop a long range vision for the Trafalgar Road Corridor. This will be done by considering transit connection and high occupancy vehicles (HOV) lanes through and within the corridor, whilst considering other traffic needs and pedestrians and cyclists. Urban design guidelines will be developed for the corridor. The Town of Oakville, in coâ€"operation with the Region of Halton and the Ministry of Transportation, is undertaking the Trafalgar Road Corridor Strategy Study. A consultant team has been retained to conduct a study. The team conâ€" sists of DSâ€"Lea Associates (Transportation Planners and Engineers), Lehman and Associates (Land Use Planners and Public Consultation Experts) and du Toit Allsopp Hilliere (Urban Designers and Landscape Architects).
