She also has valuable recording experience with The Singing Machine Company. Ironically, she met her current husband Paul, a Canadian, when he was visiting Florida some 11 years ago. They dated a few times, but Suzanne was young and starryâ€"eyed, not interested in a longâ€"term relationship â€" or so she thought. "I was on my way to New York to start my career," she said, and winced. Broadway was not on the proâ€" gram, however, not then at least. She met a man with an offer she couldn‘t refuse. This past year, Suzanne sang one of the leads in an operatic oratorio by Haydn called "The Creation." Brown credits her voice coach with getting her through this techâ€" nically demanding piece. "It‘s the first time I‘ve been able to sing such a grand piece â€" so freely," she said. Currently, she is working on producing a tape of spiritual music. There is a yin and yang within us all, the.
