The Oakville Beaver, Friday May 5, 2006 - 39 Eye on the ball OFSAA once again a goal for Aquinas Continued from page 38 real well," Trinity coach Angelo Sottana said. "I think (we), as a team, did not play as a team as we should. We're a really talented team but I think (Aquinas) came out stronger and wanted it more and they got the win." Titans keeper Max Lubric played well, making several big saves to keep his team in the game. Other goal-scorers for the Raiders against the Titans were Julian Fabian and Kyle Oliveira. Both teams are hoping to repeat the success that they enjoyed last year. The Raiders hope to get back to the OFSAA championships to improve on last year's silver medal. "We graduated a bunch of players but some of our younger players have stepped in," Szpakowski said. "The guys who were Grade 11, first-year seniors last year, have really stepped up this year. "We're hoping to get back (to OFSAA) and see what happens. I know Hamilton Christian is very strong. We're hoping to get back and get another shot." Holy Trinity is also looking to improve on its last season, where it lost to Notre Dame in the Halton AAAA finals. "We've got the talent, we've got the skill," Sottana said. "It's just harnessing the talent and skill and hopefully (we) come through in the clutch." Both teams are back in action on Monday when Aquinas takes on Kings Christian and Holy Trinity faces off against Oakville Trafalgar. In other soccer action on Wednesday, Kings Christian defeated Oakville Trafalgar 1-0, Abbey Park and Robert Bateman played to a 11 draw and Loyola topped Nelson 1-0. save save save save save save save HOME FOR THE SUMMER OR NOT Bring your Car to Towne and we will perform a Lubrication, oil & filter change, a 62-point inspection of brakes, lights, steering, suspension and provide a written estimate of any necessary repairs for the low price of...
