8- The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday May 24, 2006 Experience dining in Bronte Limited number of tickets available Spring is the perfect time to stroll through Bronte Village and enjoy delightful samples from some of the area's finest and funkiest eateries during the Bronte BIA's annual culinary tour, Passport to Dining Sunday, May 28. Sample the deli delights of Gaetano's, `twisted fare' from Michael Killip at Twisted Fork, hot spicy food from Trini Paradise or Sammy's authentic paté frit poutine. There are 11 establishments participating in this year's tour ­ Butterfly Ice Cream Buffet, Country Fare, Gaetano's Café & Deli, Manchester Arms, Mixed Grill Cuisine, Petite Gateau, Sammy's Chip Truck, The Fire Hall, Trini Paradise, Twisted Fork and Vinnie's Café. Proceeds from Passport to Dining will go towards the Bronte BIA's annual Canada Day festivities on July 1. Only 100 tickets will be sold for Passport to Dining to be held from 2 ­ 5 p.m. For $30 per person, enjoy a taste of what local restaurants and caterers have to offer while enjoying a walk to see what other shops and amenities are available in Bronte. Tour leaders will be provided to groups and individuals if desired, or participants can meander on their own. Please state your preference when buying tickets.
