The Good Parent: Understanding Your Role in Youth Sports will be presented by Just Play Sport Services. Through a two-hour interactive workshop, participants will learn how teach and reinforce these attributes and become a "Good Sport Parent." Active Living Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities will be presented by Get Active Now, a charity focused on improving the lives of Ontarians with disabilities. Held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oakville Town Hall, this workshop will demonstrate the inclusive equipment opportunities available from Get Active Now's Wintergreen Equipment Loan Program and how participants can utilize this program free of charge within their organization. Their aim is to raise awareness of active living opportunities for people with disabilities. Both workshops are free however registration is required.
