As of September 2006, the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) Cardiac Rehabilitation program will move to its new home in the YMCA of Oakville's newly-built Heart Healthy Centre. Garvey's Fine Men's Wear in downtown Oakville kicked off a a campaign May 31 by making a donation to the Cardiac Rehab Program. Harold Lenfesty, owner of Garvey's, said, "The Cardiac Rehab Program is extremely important to our community and Garvey's is happy to play a role in raising funds for this worthwhile cause." "This gift demonstrates the importance of our Community Partners within our community," says Allen Wightman, Executive Director of the Oakville Hospital Foundation. "Without organizations like Garvey's Fine Men's Wear, we would not be able to meet the growing needs of our hospital. On behalf of Halton Healthcare and the community, I thank you," said Wightman. Garvey's is kicking off the campaign with a $10,000 donation from the store and is giving the equivalent of the GST from sales made in the store between now and June 13.
