That prompted senior administration members at Tuesday's board meeting to again take pains to explain that every effort has and will be made to ensure the continued autonomy and identity of the HCDSB despite sharing property and facilities with the campus' other three partners. Robin and fiancée Laurie Vuillermet stopped off in Oakville Thursday and Friday as part of their global cycling adventure to raise money for, and awareness about, Chloé Levielle, a five-year old girl suffering from West Syndrome. Robin, a professional firefighter, took a two-year sabbati- cal to raise enough money to cover Chloé's medical treatment for the next 10 years and since August 1, 2004, he has been riding a recumbent bike around the globe from firehouse to firehouse. Robin first cycled through Europe (France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia) before heading to Australia and New Zealand, where Vuillermet joined his efforts.
