www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Friday June 16, 2006 - 35 Trafalgar Brewery open house Sunday Trafalgar Brewing Company is holding an open house and new beer tasting to celebrate Father's Day. The open house is from 12-5 p.m. at Trafalgar Brewery, 1156 Speers Rd. This will be Trafalgar's second annual Father's Day open house to thank the community . This event features free beer samples and guided tours of the brewery. Brewery staff will give demonstrations and answer questions about the brewing arts. This year's open house comes with an added bonus: the release of Critical Mass, Canada's strongest beer. Not for the faint of heart, this supercharged ale is double-fermented and brewed in the Belgian style with bold coriander and citrus notes. Critical Mass boasts a 14.7 per cent alcohol volume. Critical Mass will be the first in Trafalgar's line of Very Strong Beers, so public feedback is appreciated. Snacks and samples of our other beers and meads will also be available throughout the day in the brewery and at the brewpub, The Tied House. The Trafalgar Brewing Company was founded by Mike and Nancy Arnold and George Hengstman in 1993. Spend a day with dad at the Waterfront Festival T reat Dad to a day at the Festival.
