After endless hours of work, the new location is ready. It has so much to offer, we can't wait for everyone to come and see us there. Everything is clean and new and it was designed with children and families in mind. There are no stairs, a brighter and larger facility, fabulous and spacious rooms, and ample parking for cars and strollers alike. Our summer programs will begin at the North Service Road on Tuesday, July 4. Please see our website at www.op-cc.ca for the schedule of summer programs. While we are ecstatic over this relocation, there is a hard reality looming. The reality is that we still must raise $180,000 to pay in full, our costs for the renovation project. As we look to and plan for future growth, we know that we must have this debt paid down before we can contemplate adding new programs and services. If you have given to our campaign, thank you. If you have not, please consider a gift now. Pledge forms are available online and at all our sites. We accept VISA, Mastercard, cheques and cash, and your donation is tax deductible. Another way you can support our relocation project is to participate in our fundraising activities. All money raised in our activities right now, is being put toward our relocation costs. We are excited about a partnership with Whole Foods and invite everyone to join us for "Whole Foods Day". On Wednesday, July 26th, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, we will have volunteers helping out and activities for the kids. Whole Foods will be donating 5% of their revenue for that day Oakville Parent-Child Cen Start making your shopping list, plan to join us at Whole Foods, 301 Cornwall Rd., and help support your centre!
