Oakville also played terrific defence throughout the tournament, clinching the title with a 7-5 win over the Burlington Bulls in the final. The A's won all six of their games, outscoring their opponents 101-24. Among the club's offensive stars were Matt Luff (17-for-19, four home runs, five doubles, five triples and 23 RBI), Boston Elliott (15-for-18, seven doubles, three triples, 12 RBI), Sam Medeiros (three home runs), Jake Medeiros (three home runs), T.J. Fergus (15-for-17) and Michael Bradshaw (17-for-20). Also contributing to the win were Tyler Rymal, Nick Trogrlic-Iverson, Zach Stamegna, Luke Corbeth and Luke Whitehouse. Morley carded a 75 on the par-72 course and easily won the adult `B' flight with a Stableford-adjusted score of 64 -- 13 shots ahead of second-place finisher Lonnie McKay of Stratford. Dom Cistrone won the `C' flight with a score of 72, while Pekka Ojapalo placed second in the `A' flight with a total of 75. Both their scores were also Stableford-adjusted. At the tour's previous stop, June 11 in Guelph, Derek Morley was the top local competitor. He tied for third in the juvenile (14-15) division with three other players, scoring an 84.
