We are also pleased with the first place finish for the O'Connor McLeod Hanna ad that appeared in our Art of Excellence feature. This ad involved a lot of hours of creativity from our sales rep and designers and I know the team at O'Connor McLeod Hanna was thrilled with the result -- I guess the judges were, too. I am so proud of the dedicated individuals who helped the Beaver garner these honours." The Oakville Beaver's parent company, Metroland Printing, Publishing & Distributing, won a total of 64 awards in the contest. The Oakville Beaver's sister paper The Burlington Post and co-member of the Halton Division of Metroland won seven awards in the contest. The Mississauga News, another Metroland publication, finished second to The Oakville Beaver with 16 awards. The SNA competition was extremely competitive this year with more than 1,900 entries.
