He resided in Listowel and was born 63 years ago in Newmarket, a son of the late Ralph and Doris (Dodd) Adair. George was a member of Calvary United Church, Listowel where he served as Elder and Presbytery rep. He was an avid reader and enjoyed camping, hiking, jigsaw puzzles, trivia and cooking. George was the loving father of Karen and Rob Blue of Burlington and special grandpa of Emma and Teresa. He will also be remembered by his sister Nancy Chant of Aurora, his brothers David and Ann Adair of Oakville, Joseph Adair of Brampton and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Merdie Chant. George's family invites relatives and friends to share their memories at Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Calvary United Church, Listowel on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
