www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Friday July 7, 2006 - 25 Café hosts Drinking and Drawing nights Recently-opened CJ's Café in Bronte is organizing a summer-long artist gettogether called Drinking and Drawing Nights. For every Thursday of the summer from 7 9 p.m., owner CJ Martin invites artists to come to the café and draw with her and other artists, with the intention of meeting new people and creating new works. She will have materials on site for still life drawings, or artists are invited to sketch the café, each other, or anything else. Martin asks artists work only in clean mediums and ones that don't require a lot of set-up space, like pencil, pen aquarelle, oil pastels and small watercolour kits. There is no charge for Drinking and Drawing Nights, but artists are encouraged to purchase a drink or any of the café's food. Those intending to come should email cjmartin_artist@yahoo.ca, or just show up. CJ's Café is located at 2416 Lakeshore Rd. West. BAPTIST UNITED You Are Part of the Family PRESBYTERIAN (Dundas Rd.
