At 1 p.m. MADD Halton/Peel will honour and remember victims by donating a bench to be displayed at Coronation Park. This memorial bench will serve as a symbol of tribute and respect for impaired driving victims. Organizers stress the importance of consistently raising the public's awareness to the senseless crime, loss and sorrow felt by many people in the aftermath of a tragic impaired driving car crash. MADD Canada is the preeminent national anti-impaired driving group, providing a voice for victims of impaired driving crimes. It is a non-profit organization of volunteers who include not only mothers, but fathers, friends, business professionals, experts in the antiimpaired driving field and concerned citizens who want to make a difference in the fight against impaired driving. Coronation Park is located on Lakeshore Road just east of Third Line, in Oakville.
