www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver Weekend, Saturday August 19, 2006 - 7 Man tossed from car in early morning dispute A 42-year-old Oakville man is recovering from serious injuries after he was thrown from a moving car following a two-car collision and subsequent altercation. According to Halton Regional Police, it was shortly after 2:30 a.m. Friday when a collision occurred between two cars along Dundas Street in the area of Trafalgar Road. The two vehicles pulled into a gas station located on the northwest corner of the intersection and, after a brief conversation, one of the drivers attempted to flee the parking lot in his car. The other driver tried to stop him, but became stuck in the open driver's window of the suspect vehicle. As this car fled the scene the victim was thrown from the moving car and landed on the road. A witness immediately came to his aid and called 911. The suspect vehicle was last seen westbound on Dundas Street from Trafalgar. At press time the victim -- whose identity is not being released -- was listed in stable condition suffering from head injuries and a possible broken neck. The suspect is described as a 35-40year-old white male, five-feet nineinches to five-feet 10-inches in height with a medium build. He spoke English with no described accent.
