Dominion is also hosting a barbeque in front of the store. The Halton Regional Police Service will be on hand with McGruff, the "take a bite out of crime" team leader. During the day, the shopping centre will be raising funds to help save Oakville's historic white oak tree by selling "Save The Old Oak Tree" buttons and holding a silent auction. The breweries will donate $1 from every beer sold to the Woodland Oak Tree Preservation Committee in an effort to save Oakville's 250 year-old white oak tree. At 1 p.m. Naval Cadet Kevin Okihiro will participate in the 20th anniversary cake cutting ceremony.
