Marlins seek volunteer swim coaches The Oakville Marlins, a Special Olympics competitive swim team, is looking for volunteer coaches. The club consists of athletes swimming at various levels, however all must be able to swim at least 25 metres and feel comfortable in the deep end of the pool. The Marlins attend swim meets at least once a month and members compete regularly against other athletes of similar ability. The team practices every Tuesday from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at White Oaks Pool, White Oaks High School at 1330 Montclair Dr. Members continuously strive to improve their swimming performance and their endurance, and are in need of `caring partners' at practices. If interested in volunteering with the Marlins, call club manager Linda Hickson at 905-827-5359 or head coach Bernie Cuzzolino at 905-2575114. For more information, see www.oakvilleoso.org.
