In addition to the delay affecting Health Department clinics, flu vaccine offered by physicians and local pharmacies will also be delayed as a result of this situation. Flu clinics will start as soon as the vaccine is received. We encourage residents to check our website at www.halton.ca/flu for updates about the availability of the vaccine and for Flu Clinic schedule information. Flu vaccination is free for all residents of Ontario, six months of age and older. The purpose of this Class EA study is to assess the environmental impacts of constructing a new sewage pumping station in the area of Riverside Drive. With this Class EA, different alternative solutions will be evaluated to select the most technically feasible and environmentally sound alternative. As such, the Riverside Drive Sewage Pumping Station replacement is being undertaken as a Schedule B, Class EA process in accordance with the procedure defined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (2000). Public and review agency consultation is a key element of the Class EA process, and input will be sought from parties throughout this study. Upon completion of the study, a comprehensive Class EA Project File will be prepared to document the planning process, preferred alternative, including how the public and agency input was received, for public review and comments. A Notice of Completion will be issued at that stage. You are invited to attend a Public Information Centre to review the alternative solutions, provide comment and discuss concerns you may have with representatives from Halton Region.
