Outgoing Chair Joyce Savoline appointed commissioner of Corporate Services and Treasurer Jane MacCaskill interim chief administrative officer this week. The replacement comes on the heels of Brent Marshall's retirement as the CAO last Friday. Savoline, who is not seeking re-election, said MacCaskill brings a depth of experience crucial to the role as CAO and has the respect of her peers, at the staff level and among politicians.
