Oakville fell in the semi-final to the eventual tournament champions, Brampton Raiders, in a shoot out after a scoreless game and two overtime periods. Earlier in the tournament, Oakville defeated Ancaster 4-1, Dixie 3-0, and Georgetown 5-0. Leading the scoring for Oakville were Thomas Knapp (3), Steven Jean (2), Jake Smith (2), Jake Babic (2), Kevin Guzzo (1), Erik Neefs (1), and Connor White (1). Other members of the team were star goalie Ben Dinadis, Fadi el-chaer, Justin Glenn, Wade Goold, Connor Grist, Simon Hatziioannou, Anthony Harkins, Cameron Savage, and Richard Slater. The Oakville Soccer Girls Under 10 (Kelly Green) League Cup Champions. They won the championship on Saturday September 16, 2006 in a hard fought battle vs a very strong Navy Blue Team. Including the playoffs the girls were proud to go an incredible 18 - 0 - 0 with every player contributing to the season. Great job girls. The Blue Thunder was a hard working team and had a fantastic year end at the Friendship tournament. Through great teamwork they won 1-0. This was the first year of Lacrosse for most of this team and right from the beginning dominated the games and went throu the whole season with only 1 loss! Way to go Roughnecks! The Lumberjacks defeated the first place Gators with a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory. Sean Courage scored the only goal of the game. Scott Hiltz recorded the shut-out. The team players were Scott Hiltz, Troy Peterson, Aidan Chalmers, Aidan Swanepoel, Griffin Sanford, Mark Bzowey, Gabriel Langevin, John Carney, Josh Henderson, Charles Sparling, Austin Georgas, Sean Courage, Reece Feijo, Austin Baiton, Sean Medeiros and David Jalonen.
