She has participated as an Art Council Executive Member, a member of the Art Club, a member of the Principal's Advisory Council and the Diversity Council. Outside of school, Jessica works in her family's restaurant, as well as participating each year in "Shakespeare in the Park." She enjoys tutoring outside of school for math and English. · Tim Levert, Grade 5, Sheridan Public School -- Tim was selected for this honour because he demonstrates strong academic skills through his inclass work, is highly involved in co-curricular activities at Sheridan, has strong relationships with peers and adults throughout the school, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and, in keeping with the principles of our C.A.R.E. program, is a model of Cooperation, Achievement, Respect and Empathy. · Devaki Mojoomdar, Grade 5, Lorne Skuce Public School -- Devaki is a true ambassador of Lorne Skuce Public School. She takes pride in all that she does - academically, athletically and socially. She is dependable and always volunteers willing to help in the school in anyway she can. · Amanda McKenzie, Grade 8, Heritage Glen Public School -- Amanda consistently shows her talents in class, during special events, clubs and teams and in her interests outside the school. She is a valued member of the athletic council, Think Bowl team, environmental club and the art, chess, dance and drama clubs. She was a member of our cross-country team, participate in intramurals and is part of the concert and jazz bands. · Carly McMillan, Grade 12, Iroquois Ridge High School -- Carly McMillan is an enthusiastic student leader who brings learning to action through various opportunities for staff and students including a personal interest in health to co-curricular life at Oakville Trafalgar. He has been a member of Student Council throughout high school and this year he has served as Student Council Co-President. In addition to involvement in musical and dramatic activities, David has excelled as an athlete. He has earned MVP honours for Track & Field and Curling and was a key member of Oakville Trafalgar's 2005 OFSAA Bronze Medal winning Senior Boys' Volleyball team. · Christine Novokowsky, Grade 8, West Oak Public School -- Christine has participated in Student council, band, Athletic Council, scorekeeping for volleyball and basketball, lunch monitor, Sub Day helpers, Think Bowl, Denominators' math club, and cross country. Christine is very excited to be part of the few "Living Schools" in Ontario and to meet so many great people who have made her elementary school experience so enjoyable. · Noel Sardana, Grade 12, Abbey Park -- Noel is one of the top academic students in the history of the school. He enriches others by acting as a volunteer tutor. He is also the yearbook editor. Noel is one of the most popular students in the school because others see him as a role model. · Nina Sokolovic, Grade 8, W.H. Morden -- Nina distinguishes herself by her complete involvement in the life of her school, from band to cheerleading to student council to cross-country! Her participation is marked by consideration for others and by her positive manner in leading, resulting in genuine respect and affection from her peers. A top academic student, Nina is also an enthusiast in piano, skiing, soccer, bridge and gymnastics. · Katherine Stover, Grade 8, Post Corners -- Katherine exhibits overall outstanding participation as a student at Post's Corners. She is an honour student and has participated as a member of the Senior's Group, Red Maple Book Club, Think Bowl Team and the School Ambassadors. Katherine always displays a responsible, respectful attitude to staff and students.
