The Kelly Green Gator Ghosts overcame an early 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 in the Red Division Playoff Championships over the Orange Tigers. The Ladies showed sportsmanship, class and respect all season. Oakville Soccer Team - The Ghostbusters, June 2006 U9/10 House League Tournament - Division D Champions. The Oakville Fury Boys Rep U13 recently won the John Henderson Cup Tournament in London. The Fury defeated the London United Mavericks to win the finals in high spirited 3-2 victory. The Fury went undefeated in the Labour Day tournament and outscored their competition 26 to 2. Not only did their soccer skills improve, but their love for the game improved as well. These girls always went out and gave 110%. They won their Gala Day Game 6-1. Oakville Little League Major (12 year old) Pirates defeated the Braves 7-0 in the Division Championship game on August 26 at Cornwall Park. The Championship win capped a perfect 6 and 0 run through the playoffs.The Pirates to finish in 3rd place. Proof that hard work and a nevergive-up attitude can "win the day". Congratulations to the Pirates! The Oakville 94 Stars into eight tournaments this summer, and played in over thirty-five competitive games. The team always had fun and played their best and made it to the final game six times. The highlight was winning the Mississauga Falcon championship trophy. Oakville Thunder U15 Volleyball team had an impressive finish to their year by taking silver in the Ontario Championship and overcoming significant odds to win bronze at the Canadian Eastern Nationals! Oakville posted six straight wins before loosing to the #1 ranked Durham Attack in the semifinals of the Eastern Nationals but quickly rebounded to beat the Mississauga's Packman 25-23 to win bronze. 2005/2006 OMHA provincial championships. This extraordinary team went through 6 rounds of playoffs to beat the Stoufville Clippers in a wild final series for the provincial title. This was the second straight provincial championship for this team and they also managed to win 3 tournament the same year. Coaches: Dave Crozier, Andrew Murray, Geoff Blackwell and Kevin Gordon.
