The park naturalist will lead evening hikes where visitors will learn to howl like coyotes and then gather around the bonfire for the Countdown for Kids! On New Year's Eve, special programming begins at 6 p.m. Guided Coyote Howl hikes will take place at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Coyote Howl hikes will uncover secrets about the largely misunderstood coyote. Everyone is invited to gather around the bonfire at 8:15 p.m. to welcome in the New Year during the Countdown for Kids. There is no additional fee to participate in New Year's Eve program.
