Silver in Hamilton for Vytis bantams A dramatic come-from-behind victory in the semifinals enabled the Oakville Vytis bantam girls' basketball team to win silver at the recent Hamilton Celtics tournament. Oakville overcame a 12-point deficit to defeat Stoney Creek by two points in the semifinal. The Vytis also played games against Kingston, Dundas and Hamilton during the tournament. Members of the team are Beka McRae, Grace Kay, Brooke Rowland, Laura Whaley, Monika Slyka, Patricia Palcu, Natalie Hirano, Heather Bonnell, Tori Odetunde, Abby Norris, Jennifer Sutton, Kristen McGill and Jennifer Stinson.
