Ball leads local fencers at North American Cup Kirsten Ball posted the best finish of Canadian Fencing Academy of Oakville competitors at the North American Cup of fencing last weekend, placing 71st in women's epee. Jacek Baldowski came 141st in men's epee, with Shane Dzioba finishing 239th. The event was held in Columbus, Ohio. Their teammate, Alex Green, competed in the Carl Schwende Junior World Cup in Montreal, finishing 44th. Team members are now preparing for the Ottawa Shield and Pentathlon Winter Nationals.
