Oakville dropped its first game in the tournament 2-1 to St. George, with the game-winner being scored with less than a minute to go in regulation time. The Sharks then faced Mt. Brydges in their next game and pulled out a dramatic 1-0 doubleovertime victory, earning a spot in the championship game. Facing the host Drayton squad in the final, the Sharks broke out offensively to earn a 5-0 triumph and capture tournament gold. Their day wasn't over, however, as their trip home took approximately three hours -- twice the time it would normally take. One of the Sharks' parents, Gary Schneiderbanger, led the team caravan of cars home through the snow in his pickup truck, while another parent, Perry Gale, stayed behind to ensure stranded travelers made their way home. Members of the Bot Sharks are William Gale, Matthew Schneiderbanger, Jacob Gorski, Rob Wilush, Ryan Landreville, Mitchell Baiton, Alex Ohorodnyk, Charles Brenninkmeijer, Ryan Lalla, Bryce Webster, Jonathan Beaulne, Liam Wray, Ian Lewis, Michael Booth, Michael Morassut and Hudson Harris.
