When we launched the campaign, we asked our Y Child Care Centres (eight Junior Child Care Centres and more than 30 Before and After School Programs in Oakville), our Peter Gilgan Family Y members and our Y Steps and Stages participants to share with us their stories and tell us how they feel about the YMCA of Oakville. Here is what they said: I like the YMCA because I like going to the gym. And I like it when we play Bingo. Dirk I like the YMCA because she lets me do the pen. I like it because we get fed at the YMCA. I like that we have parties at the YMCA. I like the YMCA because we watch movies sometimes. I like the YMCA because you make new friends. I like the YMCA because there are lots of activities. I like Louise because she takes care of us. I like Louise because she makes everything fun. Kamran I like the YMCA because I like to play with my friends. I like the YMCA because I like the crafts. I like the teachers at the YMCA. I like when Alana and Adam be nice to me, that's my favourite thing about the YMCA! To me the YMCA means fun and joy, laughter and love. Olivia The YMCA means to me fun.
