Since the club began in October of last year, it now consists of more than 25 members, including fiddlers, guitarists, flutists and even an accordion player. The group will host its first annual spring concert at Glen Abbey United Church on April 21 at 7 p.m. They'll perform a variety of Celtic tunes, including lively jigs and reels, uplifting strathseys and heartfelt airs and waltzes. The Oakville Celtic Fiddle Club will also present special guest Sandy Macintyre, one of the finest Cape Breton fiddlers in the country. Tickets for the concert are now available through the Academy of Music, Leslie Music Supply, or any member of the club.
