Provincial gold for major bantam Vipers After going undefeated in regular-season action this year, the Oakville Vipers #1 major bantam boys' basketball team capped its season with a gold-medal showing at the recent Ontario Provincial Cup in London. The Oakville Basketball Club squad clinched tournament gold with a 56-46 victory over the Owen Sound Suns in the final. Guided by former NCAA and allCanadian player Richard Stewart, the Vipers' success this season was keyed by sharp shooting, quick rebounding, strong effort, teamwork and parental support.
