Mayor Rob Burton also RSVPed he'll be out bright and early on May 26 to pay a visit. Starbucks has donated 200 cups of coffee to the event and Sobeys is donating the lemonade. MGM Bakery, from around the corner to the Yeilding's home, is also donating cupcakes -- some of them sugar free as Jack's diet precludes refined sugar. Also helping out with posters is FedexKinkos and Higgins Event Rentals is also lending a hand. Some $46.25 had already been raised as of last week as construction workers on site near where Jack was holding his practice sessions stopped by to donate. A neighbour also dropped in early to donate. From good neighbours, to politicians to tradespeople, Jack's effort is already making an impact not only in donations, but community involvement. "It's so sweet that everyone shows such support. That's what makes Oakville such a family-friendly community," said Jodi whose family has lived here 18 years. And Jack is having a ball with the entire affair -- from learning about the mayor, to manhandling lemons, learning to pour, posing for press photos with his cousin Abby Morneau and grandmother Marg Frers, and inviting all his friends to his lemonade stand.
