The junior tournament saw 11 teams from schools in the Halton District School Board compete in round robin play, playing 10 games each. Each team consisted of six players with members ranked according to strength as King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight or Pawn. Foster, Frontenac and Robert Baldwin. This is the fourth year in a row River Oaks P.S. has taken first in the Junior Division.
