On Saturday, June 16, a group of 14 students from the Oakville Taekwondo program at the Oakville YMCA earned a significant amount of respect when they tested for and achieved their 1st degree Black Belt. All 14 of these students have been members of the YMCA of Oakville Taekwondo program from the beginner level. As you would expect, to reach the black belt stage, all of these students have worked extremely hard over the past few years.
