"At first I thought it was a fight breaking out until one of my buddies grabbed the guy's hand and there was a barbecue fork in the guy's hand," he said. "There was blood on the ground when he got up, it was kind of dirty," he said. During the altercation in which multiple students jumped the assailant, Lepinski says the teacher was able to grab the fork. "He (the assailant) ran out of the room and that was basically it," said Lepinski. The student, who cannot be named because of the Young Offenders Act, was held in the school's office until police arrived, at which point he was taken into custody without incident. The student is now facing a charge of assault with a weapon. The victim of the stabbing was transported by Halton EMS to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. "The guy that got stabbed was conscious.
