The full EA report can be viewed at the following location: ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT Lakeshore Road at Sheldon Creek Structure Replacement The Town of Oakville, through its consultant Hatch Mott MacDonald, has generated a preferred solution for replacing the bridge structure on Lakeshore Road West at Sheldon Creek. The preferred solution is to replace the current bridge with a larger bridge that accommodates a future walkway underpass. It is anticipated that construction of this project will take place late summer/early fall 2007. The above project is being carried out in accordance with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment guidelines as a Schedule B project. The Environmental Assessment (EA) was completed in June 2007. A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007 to present the project to the public. Input from attendees was used in the EA and in the selection of a preferred alternative. The recommended plan for the replacement of the structure and supporting information has been documented in the EA.
