Obediah is a member of the Three Sisters, a group from Six Nations that also includes Kika Mowry and Ann Frohman. The Three Sisters represent the ancient harvest of corn, beans and squash and a ceremonial soup made from these vegetables was prepared by Six Nations Chef Janace Henry, owner of Pies and Things Catering in Oshweken.
