On Wednesday, Securit's board of directors selected Robert H. Warshauer to succeed the company's Founder, President and CEO Greg Brophy, who was killed along with his brother Sean and two other people when the float plane they were flying crashed in a wooded area outside Anchorage, Alaska. "I am pleased to join the Securit team and carry on the vision of Greg Brophy to build a leading international information security company," said Warshauer. "Securit has experienced tremendous growth and continues to lead the market in managing risk for its customers and safekeeping confidential information." Warshauer's extensive experience, which could not be found among the existing staff at Securit, includes 20 years of working with public and private companies in a wide range of industries. After being well received by the employees, Warshauer says his duty will now be to make sure communication stays open between senior executives and that everyone continues to work together as a team.
