The Oakville Firefighters Association has a long-time parade tradition of holding a Toy Drive to benefit kids who may have otherwise not received gifts for the holidays. Oakville Mazda is contributing by being designated as an official Toy DropOff location and will be accepting new, unwrapped toys for all ages including tweens and teens. In appreciation of each toy donation dropped off at Oakville Mazda, the local dealership will be offering in exchange an oil change, for all makes and models (some restrictions apply), for $14.95. Oakville Mazda is also donating the use of a Mazda 5 to the firefighters to help them collect the toys over the next few weeks. Keep your eyes open for the Oakville Mazda Van in the parade, picking up toys with the firefighters. Oakville Mazda is proud to sponsor community events. Donations can be dropped off at Oakville Mazda, 1291 Speers Rd., during regular business hours. Those who need a donation picked up should call 905-827-4242. Oakville Mazda was established in 1978 and was purchased in 2006 by Jason Guttman and Graham MacNab. Oakville Mazda is a provider of new and pre-owned vehicles and parts and service. Oakville Mazda's goal is to provide customers with a dealership experience that offers great service, fantastic prices, and a relaxed environment. Christmas Moments Star t At Sale starts Saturday, November 17th th h Ten Thousand Villages offers Living Gifts Sick of socks? Bored with bubble bath? Choosing gifts for some people can be quite an ordeal. That's why Ten Thousand Villages is once again running the Living Gift Festival this holiday season, with a unique collection of gifts to help give something little to someone who has a lot and a lot to someone who hasn't got much at all. In buying a Living Gift, you help Mennonite Central Committee Ten Thousand Villages' parent organization to carry out important relief and development work around the world. Your friend, family member, or colleague receives a detailed description of the present you chose for them, while the actual gift goes to those in developing countries who need it most. For an additional $1, a beautiful, fair trade card and ornament can be purchased to complete your gift. "Unique presents are hard to find. At Ten Thousand Villages, we're offering creative gifts that help reduce poverty at the same time. Each one makes a real difference, whether you spend $33 or $330," says Marv Frey, Executive Director of Ten Thousand Villages Canada. This year, the Living Gift Festival will offer five special projects, including specific items like trees as well as lasting services such as farmer training or classroom support. Prices range from $25 for 100 trees to $330 for a barnyard full of animals. "Our store managed to raise $30,000 last year, and over $950,000 across the country," says Frieda Kehler, Manager of the Ten Thousand Villages in Oakville. Individuals or groups interested in purchasing a Living Gift are encouraged to visit Ten Thousand Villages, at 226 Lakeshore Rd. E., for the Living Gift Festival kick-off on Nov. 24. As part of the launch, customers will experience music and tastes from distant countries. Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit, fair trade organization that provides vital, fair income to people in the developing world by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. $ 49 9 99 Was$9999 HALF PRICE $ 9 $ 99 Was2499 9 Was SAVE 60% $ SAVE $50 N Noma Self-Shaping Pine Tree Self-Sh Self-Shap lf-Sh · 71/2' tree. 2099 tips, 800 clear lights. 51-4485-8.
